Please summarize 3 of the tips on how to use Google Maps that you learned about while watching the video. Do you think these tips would come in handy when you needed to travel? Which one of the tips do you think you would use the most?

I think these tips are okay for people with limited use of data. I wouldnt use this myself because i have unlimited data and my service works good anywhere. The only tip i like is the transportation one.
ReplyDeleteThe three tips that i think was most useful is the download map it could come in handy if you have no data. And the list of all the places that you visited. And the Uber so you don't need the app anymore.
ReplyDeleteSend directions to your phone, you choose a route or preferred method and send it to you phone. if you want to see everywhere you have been recently, touch the side bar and clock on places. It will show you everywhere you have been and how long it has been. You can now order an Uber from google maps now, all you have to do is click in that side bar and order an uber.
ReplyDeleteI think google maps is very helpful it give you the quickest direction to you desirable destination. They give you your direction history so you wont have to put it in over and over again. You can get an ober through the app which saves time and is very helpful. They just you and estimated time for your arrival to make sure you're getting where you need to be in a timely manner.
ReplyDeleteYes, these tips would come in handy when you travel, because you never know when you will need directions to a new location you've never been to before. The Uber option will also be very helpful in case you are from a far distance of the location you need to go to.
ReplyDeleteYou can use google maps to zoom in on a location to get more detail, you can also search a location or pull up a list of locations you've been to. I think these tips will come in handy in your travels, but I would mainly use the list of locations I've been to because I will already know what's there.
ReplyDeleteYou can download offline maps so you would not have to use data. You can track all the places you have been by using google maps. With the new update to google maps, you can request an uber. I think these things do come in handy when you need to travel so you can know how much time it will take to get there. Although these tips are handy, I don't think I would use any of them much.

ReplyDeleteYou can download maps so you don't half to waste your data. Yes I do think they are handy because when using data its drains your battery or the phone gets super hot. The fact that i can send myself directions from my computer to my phone and still use them while i'm offline which is a really good need because not everywhere you go you have service on your phone so this is a good thing to have on Google Maps
ReplyDeleteGoogle Maps allows you to download an offline route so you can cut down on data usage. Google Maps lets you send the directions to another person by email or message. Google Maps can allow you to order an Uber. These tips helps people to know that you can use Google Maps for more than just a map and/or directions. I would most likely use the sending directions to someone else most often.

ReplyDeleteThe new update seems great, you can send directions to your phone as long as you are signed into google. You also have a traveling history that says how long and what store you went to. Then there is a Uber pick up button with out any hassle, just click where you want to go! These tips would come in handy, and I would use the travel log.
ReplyDeleteI would probably use all of like sending directions to my phone or choosing a transit route. I like that I would be able to see all the places that I have been at. Also I like that I could get an uber driver on google maps rather than getting the app.

ReplyDeleteI would use the offline access, the timeline and train/bus departures. I think all these tips would come in handy just not for everyone. I would use the offline access the most because i'm not one for people being on their phone while driving.
ReplyDeleteYou can Download them for offline use, you can order an Uber, and you can send directions to your phone. I think that the offline use is good so if you run out of data you can still navigate.
ReplyDeleteI think it would come in the clutch if you don't know where you are or if you simply need help getting somewhere. It's better to have an Uber driver without downloading the actual app to be honest.
ReplyDeleteYou can download certain places, send the directions to your phone, and see all the places you've been. I think I would use the tip about sending it to your phone. It would be easy and once you send it you don't have to worry about it taking up your phone's battery.

The last tip which is the send directions from a computer to phone which can save you a lot of time to see what place you want to go.

There's also the option to ask fore a uber without having the app. And it has you can also send directions from the computer to your phone. This are very handy especially for when you are in an area that you don't know. I would use the option to see the places I have been.
